Powers & Responsibilities of the Vice President

Constitutionally granted powers of the Vice President are those powers delineated in the Student Body Constitution, including:

• Assume responsibilities of the President, should the President be unable to complete his or her term for any reason;
• Represent the Student Body in the absence of the President.

Statutorily granted powers are those powers granted to the Vice President by these Statutes.  These powers, duties, and responsibilities are:

• Any and all other actions necessary and proper, delegated to by the President, to carry out the duties of this office.
