I am a senior double majoring in Magazine Journalism and Political Science. Although this is my first formal marketing job, I have been doing graphic design for six years, and have a communications background. The biggest goal for me is making sure students feel like they are involved and are a part of USF. If I can learn something new from someone else or help others accomplish this goal, that's what I enjoy about this position.

I'm a junior majoring in Computer Science at the University of South Florida. I saw this position with SG as not only an opportunity to gain more experience as a web developer, but also a great way for me to step outside of my comfort and work with different people. My interests include religion, programming, sustainability, and social justice. In my spare time I like to serve others, whether it is through volunteering at a local farm, visiting and feeding the homeless, teaching others what I know, or simply assisting a friend in need.

Bio
I'm a sophomore pursuing a B.A. in Mass Communications with a concentration in Advertising and a minor degree in Psychology. I started teaching myself how to use Adobe programs since I was in middle school and have never stopped learning. I think it is important to love what you do, and I definitely love design.

On behalf of the 53rd Student Government Senate Term at the University of South Florida, we extend our sincerest of salutations to all who share our sense of pride and passion for Bulls Country. We are excited about this year and all that will be accomplished by our Student Government to better the USF experience for the student body. We are committed to campus involvement and believe being involved will enhance your student experience. Your elected representatives of Student Government are the vessel from which positive impacts on your student life are made.

As the legislative body of Student Government, we are responsible for the annual allocation of roughly over $14 million dollars, which is collected from the Activity and Service fees (A&S) that every student pays. These allocations fund entities such as your Campus Recreation Center, the Marshall Student Center, Campus Activities Board, University Lecture Series, Stampede of Service, and Homecoming; as well as over two hundred different diverse student organizations.

To be part of the Senate, you must be elected into a seat for your college. Elections occur mid-fall and spring.

Additionally, we have five Senate Committees that have many different responsibilities. These duties range from student organization funding to interacting and aiding student advocacy and representation. Along with the committee chairs the Senate President and Senate President Pro-Tempore make up the Senate Executive committee.

During both the Fall & Spring terms, the Student Senate meets every Tuesday at 6:00PM in The Chambers, located on the fourth floor of the Marshall Student Center. We invite you to attend a session and see the dedication and commitment that your fellow students, elected representatives, have in serving the students at the University of South Florida. If you are unable to attend, please review official documents for all pertinent information. In addition, the Senate Office is located on the 4th floor of the Student Life Tower, Room 4308D.
